4th of July

This year for the 4th was simple, but I'm pretty sure it was one of my favorites so far. My day started out going to work which was surprisingly stress free, then I came home to dinner with my family eating hamburgers, chips, watermelon, and drinking rootbeer...you know, a typical American 4th of July meal! We then started watching Independence Day but in the middle of it went outside and joined our neighbors for some little fireworks and sparklers! It was a great night with my family and even though I always miss Jake on the 4th because I remember Exhibit A:
